Revisited recently after a year or 2 and realized they serve food as well! It's cafeteria style and of good quality considering. Very busy when I went but the service is fast and friendly. I loved the szechuan chicken, everything was delicious. I can't recommend the curry chicken buns and pork&shrimp dumplings enough. The red bean sesame balls are huge and packed with filling! Personally my least favorite item was the bbq pork bun. The flavor on those was yummy and sweet, but couldn't compare to the curry chicken! I will admit though, it was much pricier than I had thought. I should've asked for a receipt as I suspect I was double charged on something, but that's on me at this point. It was still worth what I ended up paying so if anything I'll consider it a tip if that's the case!

All this food for just $14 and some change. You get 4 shiu Mai, 4 pork buns and 3 sesame balls, all for $14. They now have noodle soups and chicken wings!​

Best shumai in town! I definitely recommend this place..I always go here when I crave for some authentic, delicious Chinese food. The service is quick and the prices are very reasonable.

Yikes, bad editing & spelling in my first review! If I could edit it, I would. Not my strong point, sorry. More importantly, this place is still my favorite HOLE in the wall for Chinese take out. Still loving the dumplings and fried rice for lunch when I'm nearby. With the price of restaurant food today, this place is still such a value for delicious hot food ready fast!

I enjoy going here for some affordable Chinese food. The quality is usually very consistent, sometimes the chow mein is a bit stale but that's kind of to be expected with these buffet style places. They'll always cook it for you fresh if you want. Kinda mad at them for raising the prices, but still pretty good value considering the quality and how much you get. I used to go to Amy's by my house on Guerneville Road but this blows their "quality" out of the water.

A small family run take-out restaurant. Food is always fresh. Portions are very generous. Prices extremely fair and service always friendly.

I hadn't been here since I was in college ( over ten years, eek!). Wow! The food portions are just as big now as they were back then and price is probably one the best around! Not only that but the food tastes so good! It's not over salty ( which I find is usually an issue when it comes to Chinese food). I doordashed my order and delivery time was on point ( so thank you for that to the staff at restaurant and to the door dasher!). My food was tasty and warm and had quite a bit left over even after feeding four adults. So that makes me super happy! Left over chinese food for breakfast is the best!

I used to frequent Silver Moon at least 3 times a week when I was living in Santa Rosa. Now that I am no longer working or living in the area, it's been quite a while since I've been back. I stopped in today around lunch time, and waited in line behind another patron. Both of the ladies who own Silver Moon recognized me and it was so nice to catch up with them. They are the sweetest and genuinely care about their customers. The food was just like I remember it. I always rave about their Pork Fried Rice! I truly think about this place all the time LOL I was so happy to be back and even though I'm not in Santa Rosa often anymore, I will definitely make time to come here again. There was even an updated menu with a ton of new offerings, even party tray options! This place has been by the SRJC for quite a number of years now. Support this awesome, small business if you can. Needless to say, I LOVE Silver Moon!

This is your no frills, grab and go Chinese food. You are greeted with a smile by the women. It's clean and simple seating offers quiet spot to eat. We are HUGE fans of the made to order potstickers. I love the steamed and the Kid loves hers fried. They take about 20 minutes, well worth the wait. I suggest calling it in so you don't have to wait. I also like the Hargow, Siu Mai and steamed buns. We haven't tried the hot food bar but they always have a great selection. Everyone seems to order the Teriyaki chicken when we come pick up our food. I believe it's been around for more than 25 years as we used to walk over after school. Please support this small business. You won't be disappointed!
